Our equipment supplies high purity gas in small quantities and at low pressure, eliminating the need for high pressure cylinder gas.

The generators require deionised or distilled water to produce hydrogen. No caustic solutions are used. No cell maintenance at all. Ideal as a feed gas for GC-FID’s and as a reaction gas for HALL detectors as well as for carrier gas. Hydrogen offers important advantages over helium and nitrogen in terms of speed of analysis, sensitivity and resolution per unit of time. Other applications include total hydrocarbon analyzers, sulfur analyzers and air pollution monitors.

Hydrogen generators are optionally available with remote control capability. This unique and exclusive feature opens a wide range of new applications.

There are a number of problems associated with using a cylinder gas supply. The repeated coupling/uncoupling of supply lines can introduce oxygen and moisture into the lines. There is also the labour cost of the cylinder change and problems in regulating the gas supply, as well as the safety hazard and safety regulations required for an on-site cylinder. All these factors make the gas generator a preferred alternative.
