Patching packers & Fiber

Made from durable polyrubber, patching packers are one of the most common trenchless method to repair crack pipes made of cement or clay.  Due to its flexibility, up to 3 meters of pipe section can be repaired.  Patching packer is fitted with fiber impregnated by chemicals. 

For accuracy reason, patching packer is towed to the broken section with guidance of a CCTV crawler.  Then the packer is inflated by an air compressor to an allowable pressure.  Overpressure will lead to packer burst and might harm working personnel.  Under pressure usually will lead to a deformed and unqualified patch.
